who we are
For about 25 years name ELWITEC is noted for solutions in the range of mobile energy and mobile light.
-how it started-
Founded in 1984, our company started up with Elke Wiegel and only one welding machine at home in Heiligenhaus, near Düsseldorf. To that time Jürgen Wiegel was working at Duracell. During the first years only insiders to the branch knew about the existence of ELWITEC. In 1992 the corporate structure was changed from a business partnership to a limited liability company and now with Jürgen and Michael Wiegel joining ELWITEC, they continually worked on the growth of the family business.
-current situation-
After relocation in 2005, you now find us at our new building on Konrad-Zuse-Str. 1 in Velbert. The new site is centrally located with an easy access to main routes and has the potential capacity for prospective increase. With 35 employees (2 trainees) we aim for frictionless procedures each day. Only because of this high quality awareness of all of our staff members, we have managed to achieve a margin error of under 0,3 %. Certainly our quality management acts in accordance with DE EN ISO 9100:2008 certification. In order to optimize and to support our quality management, we are accredited by the German Chamber of Trade and are therefore your partner for emergency power systems and solar technology.
